Sony Xperia A2 leaked, will succeed Xperia A on NTT Docomo in Japan

Sony Xperia A, which was released in May 2013 by telecom operator NTT Docomo in Japan, is set to get a successor in the form of Xperia A2.

An alleged NTT Docomo brochure has appeared on a Japanese website, which reveals some key details about this upcoming smartphone. Sony Xperia A2 will come with 4.3-inch 720p HD display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor.

The phone will reportedly be released in Gray Black, White, Lavender, and Orange colour options.

Although other specifications are a mystery at this point, the phone clearly seems to be Xperia A successor and not Xperia Z2 Compact (or Z1 Compact successor) as is being reported around the tech media.

We are expecting an official announcement in the first fortnight of May, 2014, when NTT Docomo normally reveals its summer line-up of devices.
