HTC One M8 goes on sale in India, can be grabbed for as low as INR 47,689

Slightly ahead of the scheduled May first week availability, HTC One (M8) smartphone has gone on sale in the Indian market. The smartphone is now available at brick and mortar stores as well as e-retailers like Flipkart.com.  Flipkart.com however will begin delivering the phone on May 8.

To remind you, HTC One (M8) has got an official price-tag of INR 49,990 but you can grab it as low as INR 47,689 at Flipkart. The prices of brick and mortar retailers are also expected to be similar.

Originally introduced in March, the HTC One M8 was introduced in the Indian market few days ago. It features a 5-inch full HD display, 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage in a brushed metal unibody frame.

The phone also comes with Duo Camera setup on the rear, 5MP front camera, 2600 mAh battery, 16GB of internal storage and microSD card slot. On the software front, HTC has included Android 4.4.2 KitKat on One (M8) along with Sense 6.0 UI.

The phone is currently being sold in Gunmetal Grey colour option, however Silver colour variant is expected to go on sale in the next few days.
