Sony introduces Xperia T, Xperia V and Xperia J phones at IFA

As rumoured earlier, Sony has introduced three new Ice Cream Sandwich smartphones at its IFA press conference. These smartphones include Xperia T, which is the new company flagship, Xperia V and Xperia J.

Company has also revealed that Xperia T will have variant called Xperia TX and it will retail in select markets.

Talking about Sony Xperia T first, it comes with 1.5 GHz Qualcomm’s MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 Plus SoC (system on chip), Android 4.0 (ICS), 4.6-inch Reality display with Mobile BRAVIA engine and 13MP rear camera.

The smartphone also features One-touch connectivity enabled by NFC, which allows easy pairing between NFC devices. Lastly, yes it is true; Sony Xperia T will be Bond’s smartphone in Skyfall.  Sony says it will be available worldwide in the coming weeks.

Coming to Sony Xperia V, it shares quite a few features with Xperia T, but has a smaller 4.3-inch display. Apart from that Xperia V also features Mobile BRAVIA Engine2, which is a successor to Mobile BRAVIA Engine, ClearAudio+ mode for better audio, HDR, and Superior Auto which intelligently detects scenes (up to nine scenes), sets most optimal settings for still image, and applies best image processing including layered technology, noted Sony in a press release.

Sony Xperia V also offers the highest levels of dust and water resistance in a smartphone (IP55/57+), ensuring protection from the effects of immersion up to 1m for 30 minutes. It will reach markets in Q4.

Lastly, Sony Xperia J is company’s entry-level smartphone, which comes with features like 4-inch SWVGA display, 5MP rear camera and front camera. It will also become available in Q4.

I saw the Experia screens and they were better than those of Samsung Galaxy SIII .. here, I am impressed with the dust+water resistant Experia V cuz it has a 4.3″ screen .. beautiful!!
