Sony has unveiled the previous leaked Xperia Tablet S at IFA trade fair. Featuring Android 4.0.3, this tablet will feature an aluminium body and splash-proof design. Sony has announced that Xperia Tablet S will launch initially in European markets from September and then across further global markets.

Sony Xperia Tablet S comes with a 9.4-inch HD display with low-friction coating, NVIDIA Tegra 3 1.4 GHz processor with ULP GeForce GPU, 8MP rear camera and 1MP front camera. It also features 6000 mAh battery, 16/32/64GB of internal storage, and Wi-Fi (3G in 3G models) connectivity.

The Japanese manufacturer has made quite a few software tweaks on the tablet including guest mode, and Small Apps (extended widgets).

Guest Mode: Allows personalised profiles for family and temporary users.

Small Apps: Run on top of other applications, like Mini Reote, which controls the volume with a small remote widget on your tablet when playing music.
