Motorola to launch its first Intel-powered smartphone on Sep 18

Advertisements

Motorola is finally ready to launch its first Intel powered smartphone. This Google subsidiary is holding a joint press conference with Intel on September 18 in London to announce this device.

There are no details about this upcoming device, but the press invite hinted that it might be called Edge, or it might come with an edge-to-edge display (almost no bezel?).

Only Lava, Orange and Lenovo have announced the Intel chip powered smartphones till now.  Lava was the first company with its XOLO X900, which is India exclusive.

Considering the rumours of Motorola’s departure from India, even if Motorola comes with a cracker of a device, we here in India might not get to see it.
