As per a press release, Gaana 5.0 for Android includes a new dark theme, Playlists of the Hour, redesigned player and more. In addition, Gaana has partnered with PayTM to offer a referral program for its users. The users will be able to invite others to use the app and in turn they will get INR 20 per user (upto maximum of INR 100), which can redeemed as talk time. “Gaana is about music, and so we changed the interface to make the music as easy to find, and as prominent as possible,” said Saurabh Goel, Product Head, Gaana.
