The Gaana+ premium subscription service allows users to download music for offline usage, up to 128kbps bitrate streaming support, ad-free experience and more. The service currently costs $2.99 (or Rs. 170.13) for Indian users and $3.99 for users outside India. The subscription payment is done using Google Play’s in-app billing support and you can also test out the feature for 15 days as a free trial.
Apart from Gaana+ support, the new update also brings improved search functionality, multi bitrate streaming quality support and bug-fixes.
“Gaana 2.0 is more intuitive, with better search and easier ways to make and edit playlists in MyZone, and it lets users choose the quality of playback based on their connection speed. User feedback to the changes on iOS have been very positive, and Android users have been asking for the update,” Gaana.com team noted in a press release.
