Times Internet has released Gaana 4.0 for Android in Google Play. The new version of the music-streaming app brings a host of improvements and new features including carrier billing support for Gaana+ subscription.

Talking about the changes in detail, Gaana 4.0 comes integrated with music videos and lyrics support. So, next time you are listening to a song and want to check out the video of that song or read lyrics, you will able to do so with the app, however videos and lyrics are only available for select songs right now.

Among other changes, Gaana app interface has been revamped to improve readability and access to content. “Favourites and downloads have also been brought up front, based on user feedback for easier access. And of course, Gaana users’ favourite features, like Gaana Radio, Discover, Radio Mirchi, What My Friends are Listening To, etc, are all still available for all users,” noted Times Internet in a press release.

Also, users will now be able to use carrier billing for short duration plans for Gaana+ premium service. Check out the full change-log below.

  • Watch your favourite songs come alive with music VIDEOS
  • Never miss a note with LYRICS to your favourite songs
  • Now pay with operator billing option for short duration plans of Gaana+. Download unlimited songs and pay when you need to.
