Intex to launch MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor-based smartphone in India

Intex has announced that it has tied up with MediaTek to launch India’s first MT6592 octa-core processor-based Android smartphone soon. MediaTek’s MT6592 SoC packs eight processor cores, which can function simultaneously unlike Samsung Exynos 5 Octa, where only four application cores function at a given point, claims the company.

This upcoming Intex smartphone will come with 1.7GHz octa-core processor, 6-inch HD IPS display, 2GB of RAM, and 16/ 32GB of internal storage. It will be just 7mm thick and pack dual Yamaha 1420 speakers and removable battery. Check out full specifications later in the post. The final branding and pricing of the phone are currently unknown but we hope to hear more about them soon.
