HTC Butterfly getting Android 4.2.2 update in India

HTC India has announced that it has started rolling out Android 4.2.2 update for Butterfly users in the country. The update is now available over-the-air and brings the Android 4.2 goodies as well as Sense 5.0 UI to the smartphone.

 

The update also brings features like HTC BlinkFeed, Video Highlights slide show function and more, which were first introduced in HTC One. In terms of the Android 4.2.2 specific changes, HTC Butterfly owners will now be able to add lock-screen widget, Daydream screensaver, change settings easily using quick toggles in notification shade and more.

Other changes:

  • Battery level in status bar
  • Sleep mode in power settings notifications
  • AE/AF lock-feature
  • Music channel: Visualisation with live lyrics
