HTC One X Android 4.2 & Sense 5 update rolling out in India

Advertisements

HTC India has begun rolling out Android 4.2 and Sense 5.0 update for One X in the country. The update is now available over-the-air and One X owners will get an automatic notification on their smartphones. You can also manually check for the update by going to Settings > About > Software Updates > Check now.

The company notified regarding the same on its official Facebook page, however looks like the update is a staged roll-out, so not everyone will get it right-away. The comments on the HTC India post also show that most of the One X users are still waiting for it and if you haven’t got the update, have some patience and it will reach your phone in the coming days.

The update brings Android 4.2.2 goodies like lock-screen widgets and quick settings panel as well as well Sense 5.0 changes like HTC Blinkfeed, gallery and camera improvements, video highlights, battery level in status bar and more to the smartphone.

Do share your experience with the update in comments.

the update is okay, the developer options are a no-go. no longer available with the new 4.2.2. one more porblem is it heats up pretty fast,

go to settings->about device-> tap on the Build Number 6 times consecutively =>> this will enable ur hidden Dev option

Got it…looks awsome..but phone heats up quickly and for me battery life became poor after update…any one facing same issue guys?

how many people here have wifi problems after the 4.2.2 update…??

I believe a lot of people have that, we request HTC to sort out wifi issue soon with next software update…

give 2-3 days to observe battery. It takes time to stabilise the system.Hope it will be better after some recharge cycle

I got the update and download the file but when I try to install it always shows an error (big red question mark )
Can anyone please help me… ….
