HP Slate 7 was originally showcased at the Mobile World Congress and comes with a 7-inch display. The tablet runs on Android 4.1 and is powered by 1.6GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor. Other features of the tablet include 1GB of RAM, 8GB of on-board storage and microSD card slot.
On the camera front, HP Slate 7 packs 3MP rear shooter and VGA front-facing camera. The tablet will come pre-loaded with full suite of Google Android apps, as well as HP ePrint and HP Native Android Print.
The tablet is yet to go on sale in any country worldwide; it is still waiting to start shipping in the United States, which is supposed to be the first country to get it. With each passing days, HP Slate 7 is nearing to be a big flop, as it already has a big competition from Nexus 7 and the next-generation Nexus 7 will also get announced next month.
We hope HP has a plan in order otherwise its debut Android tablet will be a big fail.
