Samsung Galaxy S 4 coming to 7 US telecom operators in April

Samsung has announced that its flagship Android smartphone Galaxy S 4 will go on sale via seven telecom operators in the United States this month. These telcos are AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, C-Spire, US Cellular and Cricket.

As we earlier reported, US Cellular and AT&T have already started taking pre-orders of the phone, and other telcos should begin in the next few days.

Here is the information available so-far about the availability and pricing of Galaxy S 4 on various telecom operators in the United States.

  • AT&T: Available on April 30 for $199.99 with a two-year contract, or $639 upfront
  • Sprint: Available on April 27 for $249.99 with a two-year contract. If you port your number to Sprint, however, you’ll get another $100.
  • T-Mobile: Available online on April 24 for $149.99 up front plus monthly payments, in stores on May 1
  • US Cellular: For $199.99 with two-year contract

Apart from the carrier stores, Samsung Galaxy S 4 will also be sold at Best Buy, Best Buy Mobile, Costco, Radio Shack, Sam’s Club, Staples, Target and Wal-Mart.

To remind you, Galaxy S 4 is powered by Android 4.2.2, Jelly Bean and boasts a 5-inch full HD Super AMOLED touchscreen, 1.9GHz quad-core processor, 13MP rear camera and 2GB of RAM.
