Galaxy S II, which is one of the most popular Android smartphones till date, was originally released in May 2011 with Gingerbread on-board and since has received the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. The Jelly Bean update is expected to bring the much needed UI revamp, new features like Direct Call, Smart Stay and Pop up Play as well as Google Now to the smartphone.
Similar to other updates, the S2 Jelly Bean update will also be released in batches and region-wise, so it might take weeks to reach your Galaxy S II smartphone.
