XOLO A500 coming soon for INR 6,999; packs 4-inch display, dual-core CPU

Lava’s smartphone sub-brand XOLO is getting ready to launch a new dual-SIM smartphone in the next few days. Dubbed as XOLO A500, the smartphone will join the already selling A700 and A800 in the company’s A-series.

Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, XOLO A500 features 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, and 4-inch WVGA display. The smartphone also comes with 1500 mAh battery, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and the usual connectivity options.

Currently listed on Flipkart as out of stock, XOLO A500 is slowly making its way to the retailers. We are expecting an official announcement in the coming days. If you can’t wait until then, ask your nearby mobile store and they might have A500 in stock.

The smartphone has been priced at INR 6,999.
