Ten Samsung Android smartphones will get Jelly Bean update

Samsung has confirmed that it will be releasing Jelly Bean update for ten Android smartphones including Galaxy S III, which starting getting the Android 4.1.1 update today in Poland.

The complete list of Samsung phones getting Jelly Bean:

  • Samsung Galaxy S II/ Samsung Galaxy S II LTE
  • Samsung Galaxy Note
  • Samsung Galaxy S Advance
  • Samsung Galaxy Chat
  • Samsung Galaxy Ace 2
  • Samsung Galaxy Beam
  • Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus
  • Samsung Galaxy Mini 2
  • Samsung Galaxy S Duos

The company has also announced that four of its tablets will be lucky to get Jelly Bean, which include Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and Galaxy Note 10.1.

We already had the Jelly Bean update confirmation for quite a few devices among these but several others are surprising.

Ordered my Samsung Galaxy Note yesterday only (from Homeshop18 with Desk dock instead of flip cover) and getting this news for Jelly bean today. Great.

samsung india is like a baby it never makes useful noise only cries about launch of new devices ….. had ever been any announcement from them in past

bought Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 day before & getting the news for JB update….. Glad it’s coming to my bot…. was always apprehensive about device being obsolete in 6 months time….. good to hear, mine won’t be for sometime….. 😉
