Samsung Galaxy Chat Android 4.1.2 update roll-out begins

Samsung has started rolling-out Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for entry-level Galaxy Chat smartphone. Only available in Spain right now, the update is being released over-the-air as well as via Samsung Kies.

There is no change-log available right now but the update is expected to bring the usual Jelly Bean goodness like Google Now, Project Butter improvements and enhanced notifications. The update will also bring better keyboard, improved widgets and performance improvements.

Originally launched in July last year, Samsung Galaxy Chat features Android 4.0, Physical QWERTY keyboard, 3-inch QVGA touchscreen, Wi-Fi, 2MP camera, Bluetooth 3.0, microSD card slot and 1200mAh battery.

There is no word on when can we see this update in India or other countries.

In related news, Samsung recently began rolling-out Android 4.1.2 update for Galaxy Note smartphone in the country. The update is available right now OTA and via Kies app.

This is really frustrating.. even they push JB into this device rather than Galaxy S2 Just bcoz to sell their S2 Plus.. this is really bad move from samsung.. now will not purchase any samsung device. and will surely go for nexus devices (now it will be available soon in india)..
