Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 getting Jelly Bean update later this year

We have already told you that Galaxy Note 10.1 is now getting pre-booked on Samsung India e-store, but if you were concerned about the presence of Jelly Bean aka Android 4.1 on the device – we have the news for you.

The Korean manufacturer has just announced at the Galaxy Note 10.1 US launch event that this tablet will come with Android 4.0 on-board, but will be getting Jelly Bean later this year. There is no official time schedule right now, but it should come before the end of the year.

Galaxy Note 10.1 is soon going on sale in the country and is likely to be priced around INR 38-40,000. It features 10.1inch 1280x800p display, quad core processor, rear and front cameras.

Company also released an interesting  stat about the sales of original Galaxy Note that it has been sold over 10 million time worldwide.
