Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime can now be pre-ordered from Best Buy, Amazon, Gamestop and many other online stores in US. This quad core tablet from Asus is expected to start shipping sometime next month. The exact date is still a mystery, but that should not stop you from going for this nice tablet. Some Best Buy customers have reported that their pre-order mails have mentioned December 18 as the shipping date, while Gamestop makes Dec 9 as the release date.
The original Transformer was a great and one of the most loved Honeycomb tablets and we hope Asus has taken that forward with Transformer Prime. Transformer Prime has been priced at $499 for the 32GB version and $599 for the $64GB version.
To remind you, Prime features a Tegra 3 processor, 10.1 inch display, Android 3.2(ICS update is coming soon), WiFi, front and rear cameras.
