Asus Transformer Prime pre-orders start in UK

Asus has announced that the pre-orders for Eee Pad Transformer Prime will start today in the United Kingdom.  The 32GB WiFi only version has been priced at £499 and you will able to reserve your place in line at any of the following retailers and more.

Currys, HMV, PC World, Carphone Warehouse, Ebuyer, Tesco.com

If you thought £499 was too much for this quad core tablet, think again as it includes the keyboard dock as well. According to Asus, Prime will available next month and so will be the ICS update.

On the other hand, the predecessor Eee Pad Transformer has been given a limited time price cut and will be sold for £299(16GB variant), £349(32GB), and £399 (16GB model+ Keyboard Dock).
