German court dilutes Injunction on Galaxy Tablets

Advertisements

Remember a few days ago we reported that a German court has imposed an Injunction on the sale of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in European Union [apart from Netherlands]. Well, the court has today partially lifted the Injunction, now the sale of Galaxy Tab 10.1 will not be barred outside Germany.

Samsung has already filed appeal against the initial decision, which will be heard on August 25. Coming back to today’s decision, Samsung Germany is still barred to sale Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 anywhere in EU, but the units of other EU countries can sell now.

Samsung has welcomed court’s decision to suspend the pan-European preliminary injunction against the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
