There is no word on how this will impact CyanogenMod, but there shouldn’t be much. CyanogenMod is a result from community of devs, with Steve contributing significantly to it.

this is big for sammy…hope he does the “touchwiz” some gud
I like Cyanogen Mod, in fact, i use to use Froyo 2.2 on my HTC Wildfire way ahead of HTC made update available for it. Currently using Cyanogen Mod Gingerbread 2.3.5 on my Wildfire, and very much satisfied.
