Sharp today announced that it will start shipping its Galapagos e-readers in United States next year. Company is also planning to launch it in India, China and Brazil for faster global adoption.
Sharp will be tweaking Galapagos before launching it outside Japan. The tweaked version will have 3G, and EPUB format support. There is no word on pricing and exact availability, but Sharp Galapagos is expected to arrive in Q1 of 2011.
To remind you, earlier in September this year, Sharp introduced Galapagos e-readers in Japan first. They are available in two display sizes of ‘Mobile Type’ 5.5 inch, and 10.8 inch ‘Home Type’.

This reminds me of something I read this week, not directly, I mean Indians representing India. I saw a local cricket team, of lower caste representing India against the British middle classes and the amazing spirit of our local town?s teams. Why does no one else highlight our great nation?
