Sharp has announced that it is planning to launch its 3D phones in India, China and United States in 2011. These are expected to be the same 3D Android smartphones, which were recently released in its home-market Japan.

“We want to expand our market share with phones that have unique abilities and original services,” said a company spokesperson.

The company has also said that it will also start selling its Android e-reader series Galapagos in China and United States.
