Xiaomi launches Redmi Note 13 series in India

The much-anticipated Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 series has landed in India. It consists of three models: Redmi Note 13 Pro+, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13. These phones were originally unveiled in China in September 2023 and took over three months to reach India. The three phones have essentially the same basic design with a hole-punch selfie camera on the front, but the rear camera setup looks different on the Pro+ model than the Pro and the non-Pro models. The Pro+ variant also has an IP68 rating compared to the IP54 on the Pro model.

Price, availability

The Redmi Note 13 series is the most expensive of all Redmi Note series phones to date, with the top-end model costing over Rs. 35,000. Here is a look at the pricing and availability details of the three phones.

Xiaomi has priced the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ at Rs. 31,999 for the base 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant will cost Rs. 33,999 and the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant will sell for Rs. 35,999.

As the Redmi Note 13 Pro sits one step below the Pro Plus model, it’s cheaper at Rs. 25,999 for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The higher end 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant will cost Rs. 27,999, whereas the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant will sell for Rs. 29,999.

Redmi Note 13 price

The Redmi Note 13 will cater to the traditional budget and low mid-range buyers who want the most bang for the buck. It starts at Rs. 17,999 for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. There are two more variants: 8GB + 128GB and 12GB+256GB, which will cost Rs. 19,999 and Rs. 21,999, respectively.

Where and when can I buy the Redmi Note 13 series?

The sales open January 10, 2024 for Redmi Note 13 Pro+, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13. All three phones will be sold via mi.com and Xiaomi offline stores. Additionally, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ and Pro models will be available via Flipkart, whereas the Redmi Note 13 will retail via Amazon India.

Redmi Note 13 series launch offers

There are a bunch of offers. First, you can get a Rs. 2,000 discount on Redmi Note 13 Pro+ and Redmi Note 13 Pro by using an ICICI Bank credit card, credit card EMI, or Debit card EMI. The discount will be limited to Rs. 1,000 for the Redmi Note 13 while using the ICICI Bank cards.

If you have a old phone to exchange, you can get an additional exchange bonus of Rs. 2,000 while purchasing the Pro+ and Pro models and an extra exchange bonus of Rs. 1,000 while buying the regular Note 13. You won’t be able to use the exchange and bank offers at the same time.

Apart from the bank and exchange offers, you can get a Rs. 1,000 discount on the Redmi Watch 3 Active if you buy the smartwatch alongside any of the Redmi Note 13 series phones.
