Panasonic launches Eluga S Mini, priced at INR 8,990

Panasonic has introduced a mini version of its previously launched Eluga S smartphone in the Indian market. Dubbed simply as Panasonic Eluga S Mini, the new smartphone will go on sale this week in the country at INR 8,990.

“Indian customers desire multiple options for whatever they start liking, we worked on the consumer demand and came up with a Mini version of Eluga S, however upgraded with an innovative Frost-effect design,” said Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India.

According to Panasonic, the Eluga S Mini features a 4.7-inch HD IPS display and is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core processor. It also packs 1980 mAh battery, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and microSD card slot. In addition, Panasonic has included 8MP auto-focus primary camera with LED flash, 5MP front shooter, dual-SIM support, 3G, and the usual set of connectivity options in the phone.

On the software front, the phone runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Panasonic’s Fit Home UI and comes with support for 21 Indian languages and Blink Play feature, which can be used to trigger the camera shutter to capture selfies.

Panasonic Eluga S Mini will be available in White colour.
