Meizu’s new M2 Note smartphone is official

Chinese smartphone maker Meizu on Tuesday unveiled its new M2 Note smartphone. A successor to the M1 Note, the new phone is going on sale in China today at Meizu website and JD.com starting 799 yuan. There is no word on the availability in other markets like India, but you can expect to see the phone in the coming months.

Meizu M2 Note sports a 5.5-inch full HD display and is powered by 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor. On the software front, it runs on Android 5.0-based Flyme OS 4.5.

Other specifications of the phone include 4G LTE support, 3100 mAh battery, 13MP primary camera with dual-tone flash and a 5MP front shooter. In addition, Meizu has packed dual-SIM support with both SIM card slots supporting 4G LTE, 2GB of RAM, 16/ 32GB of internal storage and microSD card slot in M2 Note.

The M2 Note will be offered in Grey, Blue, Pink and White colours. Pricing

  • Meizu M2 Note 16GB: 799 yuan ($128)
  • Meizu M2 Note 32GB: 999 yuan ($161)
