Panasonic had originally introduced the Eluga range in Europe in February 2012 but it did not last long as the company exited Europe in less than a year and Eluga range was shelved. The company is now re-introducing the line-up for the Indian market.
As the company teaser suggests with the tag-line “Elegance for a new generation,” the Eluga phones could be targeted to the high-end or higher mid-range segment to complement the existing P and T-series smartphones, which cater to mid-range and entry-level segments respectively.
To remind you, Panasonic currently retail six smartphones in the country, which are priced between INR 7,990 and INR 17,990.
