Chinese telecom equipment regulator TENAA has been a source of leaks about three new Android smartphones over the last few days. The TENAA database has revealed the specifications and images of the new Gionee flagship Elife E8, plastic variant of One M9+ in the form of M9ew and Lenovo’s new A6600 smartphone.

Talking about the Gionee Elife E8 first, the smartphone will sport a 6-inch Quad-HD display, not 4.7-inch, which was mentioned in the GFXbench database. It will be powered by 2GHz octa-core processor and feature Android 5.0, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and 3520 mAh battery. The E8 will weigh a hefty 207 grams and come with a 9.6mm thick chassis.

As per previous reports, the new Gionee GN9008 is expected to be unveiled in June.

Coming to HTC’s M9ew, which seems like a plastic variant of the One M9+ smartphone. As per TENAA, the phone will come with a 5.2-inch Quad-HD screen, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and Android 5.0. It will also pack Ultrapixel front shooter, 2.2GHz octa-core processor and fingerprint sensor.

There is no word on the final branding of the M9ew, but we expect to hear from the company soon. It is quite likely that M9ew will be a China-only smartphone.

Lastly, the A6600 smartphone is an upcoming budget smartphone from Lenovo, which will feature 5-inch HD display, 1GB of RAM, 1.5GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.4 and 4G support. The smartphone will also include 8MP primary camera, 5MP front shooter, 8GB of internal storage, and microSD card slot.

Given the presence of KitKat, we expect an official unveiling soon.
