The company has not shared any other details at this point, but rumours and leaks indicate that the P8, which is ditching the Ascend branding, is expected to feature a 5.2-inch full HD display, 64-bit octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 930 processor, 3GB of RAM and Android 5.0. The smartphone is also like to come with 13MP rear camera with optical image stablisation, 2600 mAh battery, 32GB of internal storage and 8MP front shooter.
The smartphone will compete with the likes Sony Xperia Z3 and Moto X (2nd Gen) and other high-end smartphones, which are not necessarily in the category of Galaxy S6 and One M9 phones. Huawei P8’s rumoured pricing of $480 also suggests the same.
