The company has stated that the phone will first be showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, following which it will be reach the Indian shores.
Set to be a competitor to Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4G and Yu Yureka smartphones, the upcoming Lenovo phone is expected to be priced around INR 6,000-7,000.
According to online reports, the phone could be the Lenovo K3, which was unveiled in the Chinese market earlier this month. K3 features Snapdragon 410 processor, 5-inch HD display, Android 4.4, 8MP rear camera and dual-SIM support. The phone packs 4G LTE support, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 2300 mAh battery and 2MP front shooter.
Intel-powered Lenovo 4G phones at CES
In related news, Lenovo is expected to introduce two Intel-powered 4G LTE smartphones at CES next month. According to CNET, one of these phones will reach the emerging markets in late-January and the other one will released in China around Feb. These phone will be include 64-bit Intel Atom processors.
