HTC CES teaser indicates impending Desire-series announcements

Looks like we will be seeing some new Desire-series smartphones at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas next month. HTC earlier today shared a CES teaser on its official Weibo page indicating the same.

Although the teaser doesn’t mention any specifics about the upcoming smartphones, the teaser title – “Always Desire More” is a pretty direct nod to the company’s Desire-series. Also, the company is still a couple of months away from unveiling the One (M9) successor.

HTC’s CES press event is scheduled for January 5 and as always, we will bring you all the details right after the event.

HTC Hima appears in AnTuTu database

In related news, the HTC One (M9) successor has appeared in the benchmarking app AnTuTu database, in turn revealing the specifications of the phone.

As per AnTuTu, the HTC Hima will come with Android 5.0.1, 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, and 5-inch FHD display. The phone will also feature 20.7MP rear camera, 13MP front camera, and 3GB of RAM.

The phone is expected to be unveiled in March with April or May availability.
