Android 5.0.1 OTA roll-out begins for Nexus 5, factory image available

A little later than we had hoped, but Android 5.0.1 update is now rolling out for Google Nexus 5 smartphone. As the OTA upadtes are released in phases, it might take some time to reach your phone, however if you don’t want to wait, you can always sideload the update ZIP file (download from here, for Nexus 5 running LRX21O build).

The OTA update is just over 13MB in size and mainly includes bug-fixes. You can expect most of the problems that you have been facing after the Android 5.0 update to be resolved with Android 5.0.1.

In addition to the OTA roll-out, Google has also published the Android 5.0.1 factory image as well as binaries for the smartphone, which can be grabbed from the Google Developer website.
