Xiaomi Redmi Note goes on sale at Flipkart today

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note is all set for its first sale at e-retailer Flipkart. The phone will be available to the registered consumers beginning 2PM IST today and is likely to get sold out in a matter of seconds. It is being offered at INR 8,999 in White colour option.

If you are unable to score a Redmi Note in today’s sale, you can register again for the next sale, which will be happening next week. The same process will continue for all future Redmi Note sales in the country.

To remind you, the smartphone feature a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and microSD card slot. The phone also comes with dual-SIM support, 3100 mAh battery, 13MP rear camera, and 5MP front shooter. On the software front, it runs on Android 4.2.2 with MIUI v5.

Xiaomi will also be releasing the 4G version of the phone later this month, which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. The Redmi Note 4G will sell for INR 9,999 in the country.
