Coming to the specifics, Android 4.4 KitKat is now present on roughly one in three Android devices, with a 33.9 percent market share. Jelly Bean versions account for 48.7 percent of the devices, followed by Gingerbread with 9.1 percent, Ice Cream Sandwich with 7.8 percent and Froyo with 0.5 percent.

App developers get ready for direct VAT deduction from your Play Store earnings
Google has revealed that it will start deducting value-added tax (VAT) from the developer earnings for the app sales in the EU region beginning next year.
“Starting January 1, 2015, due to a change in Value-Added Tax (VAT) laws in the European Union (EU), Google will be responsible for determining, charging, and remitting VAT for all Google Play Store digital content purchases for EU customers. Google will send VAT for EU customers’ digital content purchases to the appropriate authority,” notes Google in a support page. You can find more details the support page.

The first signs of an impending Lollipop Upgrade are seen in my Moto X today. Check Motorola Update Services under ALL in Play Store – it’ll show ‘Update’. There’s your sign.
The other two devices are Xiaomi devices. Nobody knows when KitKat will be available for these devices.
