LG seems to be already working on an Android 5.0 Lollipop-powered smartphone in the form of H440n. The phone was recently spotted in HTML5Test website database.

While the benchmark website is scarce in terms of any actual details apart from the presence of Android 5.0 on H440n, MyLGPhones.com notes that H440n is part of LG’s new H-series, which will be debuting next year.

The phone will reportedly include a 1280x720p HD display and is confirmed to be released at least in Europe and North America.

LG to release G Black, G Black Sound, G Black Slim, G Plus and G Chocolate named devices?

In related news, LG has filed trademark requests of several new names with USPTO, which seem to be smartphone names and part of the company’s G-series. The names are G Black, G Black Sound, G Black Slim, G Plus and G Chocolate.

It is possible we will see some of these names being used in LG’s future smartphones, but at this point nothing is official.
