LG has announced that its G Watch R will begin retailing in the European markets starting early-November. This Moto 360 competitor will be first released in the countries such as France, UK, Italy and Spain, followed by other markets in Europe, North America, Asia and CIS region.  The company has also stated that the consumers in select countries will be able to grab the LG G Watch R from Google Play like G Watch and Samsung Gear Live.

Originally introduced at IFA trade fair in September, G Watch R features a round plastic OLED display of 1.3-inch diameter, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and dust/ water resistance. The smartwatch runs on Android Wear. As you can see, most of the specifications of the G Watch R are same as G Watch.

“While the original G Watch was designed to be a no-nonsense, pure Android Wear device, the G Watch R was developed with a more aesthetic eye. The G Watch R represents LG’s commitment to meld form and functionality together in perfect harmony and to create a device that not only looks great but more importantly, offers technology that makes life more convenient,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of the LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.

There is no word on the pricing of the device at this point but the consumers can check out the major retailers in their countries to pricing details in the coming days.
