Google Camera updated with timer support & more

Since the launch of Google Camera in Google Play, the search giant has been constantly improving the app to bring new and necessary functionality. In the same bid, the company has released a new update, which is currently being roll-out in phases and will reach your Android device over the coming days.

The updated Google Camera app, which carries version number 2.2, includes new features like ability to set timer, take a snap while shooting video, capture landscape scenes with your left-hand and choose between 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios.

Google has also added two new creative picture modes to Panorama: wide angle and fisheye.

Chrome Beta update

Among other Google app update, the company has also released a new version 36.0.1985.36 of Chrome Beta, which brings a few improvements. Check out the full list below.

  • Improved text rendering on non-mobile optimized sites.
  • Doodles return to the new tab page.
  • Better suggestions before you start typing.
  • Lots of bug fixes and performance improvements!
