Headed to the telecom operator China Mobile in the country, the phone packs dual-SIM (TD-SCDMA + GSM) support and comes with two 3.7-inch Super AMOLED displays like Galaxy Golden. The display resolution is just WVGA but among other specs, Samsung SM-G9098 features 2.3GHz quad-core processor (likely to be Snapdragon 800), 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera and 2MP front camera.
In addition, the phone also includes 1900 mAH battery, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS/ Glonass. The exact version of the Android present on the phone is unclear.
Apart from the displays, rest of the phone specifications are high-end, so we expect a hefty price-tag like previous clamshell Android phones from the company. The exact release date is a mystery right now but we hope to hear something soon. There is also no word on the launch in other markets but we won’t be surprised to see the phone in select other Asian markets over the coming months.
