Even if the OTA roll-out is delayed by a couple of days, it should hit your HTC One X smartphone by the end of this week. Despite being late, it is welcome news for all HTC One X users on AT&T.

The news comes just a week after AT&T started the same update roll-out of HTC One X+, which is a slightly upgraded version of HTC One X.

With the Android 4.2.2 update for One X, HTC USA is only left with one other software update roll-out (apart from KitKat updates), which is Android 4.3 for Sprint HTC Evo 4G LTE. The update is currently at integration stage, after which it will be internally tested and given to Google and Sprint for technical approval.

On the KitKat update front, HTC One carrier versions are currently waiting for certification and One Mini/ Max updates are still at integration stage. Wondering about these stages like Integration, certification, approval, you should check out the software update process by HTC here.
