HTC begins Android 4.4.2 update roll-out for unlocked HTC One in Europe

As promised, HTC has started rolling out Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for HTC One in parts of Europe today. Available over-the-air, the update is 308MB in size.

As per the change-log shared on the update notification, it includes security enhancements, Cloud-print support, new Bluetooth profiles, and other KitKat goodies. The update also removes Flash Player support from default browser.

The update is expected to reach other part of Europe and Asia in the coming days.

New software build version: 4.19.401.8

To remind you, HTC has already rolled-out KitKat update for unlocked HTC One, HTC One Google Play edition and developer edition in the United States. The carrier version are expected to get the update next month.

According to reports, One Mini and One Max KitKat updates will also arrive in Q1, 2014.
