LG makes G Pro 2 official, to debut at MWC next month

LG has announced that today that it will be bringing the successor to Optimus G Pro at the next month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. The company also revealed that the smartphone will be dubbed as LG G Pro 2.

LG has not shared any details about the smartphone but as per the leaks, the phone is supposed to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and 6-inch full HD display (some rumours have suggested a 5.9-inch QHD display 2560x1440p). The phone will also reportedly come with LTE-Advanced support, Android 4.4, and the usual set of connectivity options.

Other details are unclear at this point but everything should become clear in the next one month. To remind you, Mobile World Congress 2014 is scheduled from Feb 24 to Feb 27, 2014.

LG’s G Pro 2 will competing with the likes of Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Sony Xperia Z Ultra and HTC One Max.
