LG has officially revealed Optimus G Pro Android smartphone for the South Korean market today. There is no word on the exact availability or pricing, but the smartphone is supposedly going on sale in the country this month.

According to the information present in the press release (which is very little), LG Optimus G Pro will feature a 5.5-inch FHD display with 1920x1080p display with curved glass on the back with a square pattern underneath. Company claims that it creates a 2.5D effect. The smartphone is also expected to feature a quad-core processor (probably Qualcomm’s S4 Pro).

Other details are still sketchy, but they are expected to be same as Japanese Optimus G Pro.

We hope to hear more about this smartphone at the Mobile World Congress later this month, where LG is also going to announce a new smartphones series called “F.”

In related news, LG had officially announced its new L-series smartphones yesterday including L3 II, L5 II and L7 II.
