10-inch iBall Slide 3G Q1035 tablet appears online for INR 17,499

iBall seems to be planning to introduce a consumer variant of its Edu Slide 3G Q1035 tablet in the country. Spotted on e-retailers Flipkart & Snapdeal and the company’s official website, the new variant is dubbed as iBall Slide 3G Q1035 and comes with similar but slightly down-graded specs to those present in Edu Slide 3G Q1035.

iBall Slide 3G Q1035 features 1.2GHz quad-core cortex A7 processor, Android 4.2, 10.1-inch 1280x800p IPS display, 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. The tablet also comes with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 6000mAh battery, 3G and dual-SIM support.

Unlike Edu Slide 3G Q1035, there is no Wi-Fi only version of Slide 3G Q1035, also the latter doesn’t come with any pre-loaded educational content. It has been priced at INR 17,499.

The pricing seems to be decent and it will be competing with the likes of Huawei MediaPad 10 Link and Notion Ink Adam 2, both of which are priced more than iBall Slide 3G Q1035.
