HTC America president Jason Mackenzie has revealed on Twitter that Sprint HTC One will get the Android 4.3 update today. The update will be released over-the-air and HTC One owners will automatically get a notification on their smartphones.

As per the official change-log shared by Sprint, the update brings new app versions for Sprint Zone, Visual Voicemail, Sense UI improvements and Android version upgrade from Android 4.1.2 to 4.3.

To remind you, in terms of the Android specific changes, you can expect to see lock-screen widgets, quick settings panel and performance enhancements. On the Sense upgrades front, if the changes are in line with updates for the international version, the update will bring battery charging animation in power off state, improvements to colour contract in images taken in low-light conditions taken by HTC One camera and ability to add soundtracks in video highlights.

There is no word on the update release for T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T versions.
