So, by October’s end, all major variants of HTC One in the United States will have Android 4.3 update on-board.

While, the T-Mobile and AT&T variants of HTC One will get updated to Android 4.3 from Android 4.1.2, the Verizon version will jump from Android 4.2.2.  So, despite the longer wait, Verizon HTC One owners won’t be sad as they are already on a comparably newer version of Android.

The full change-log of the update is not available right now but taking in account the unlocked version update, expect to see the following changes in the AT&T and T-Mobile variants of HTC One after the Android 4.3 update.

  • Lock-screen widgets
  • Quick settings panel
  • Performance enhancements
  • Battery charging animation in power off state
  • Improvements to colour contract in images taken in low-light conditions
  • Ability to add soundtracks in video highlights.
