Samsung Galaxy Gear to support all major Indian languages

We have already told you that Samsung plans to launch Galaxy Gear smartwatch on September 25 in the Indian market and here is another piece of information, which should cheer you up.

According to Head of Samsung Think Tank Team and Director of Research at Samsung Research America Pranav Mistry, Samsung Galaxy Gear will come with support for Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil, Marathi, Punjabi and all other major Indian languages.

We are trying to get the exact number of Indian languages supported by Galaxy Gear and will update the post once we have the information.

Announced alongside Galaxy Note 3 on Wednesday, Samsung Galaxy Gear acts as a companion device for select Samsung Galaxy devices. Only Note 3 and Note 10.1 2014 Edition are currently supported but Samsung plans to add support Galaxy S4 and S III too.

Samsung Galaxy Gear notifies users of incoming messages, such as calls, texts, emails and alerts, delivers a preview of those messages. It can also be used to answer calls as it packs a speaker and microphone.

According to Samsung, users will also be able to install applications of Galaxy Gear and around 60 apps like Evernote and Pocket are available at launch.
