These renders, which were first posted on MyDrivers, show a 7-inch tablet with design cues taken from NVIDIA’s recently launched gaming console Shield. From what we can see, there is a camera sensor on the back (reportedly 5MP), headphone jack, microUSB and microHDMI ports. In addition, a stylus slot also seems to be visible.
The Verge notes that NVIDIA had registered Tegra Tab trademark at U.S. Patents and Trademarks Office (USPTO) back in April 2013, so the appearance of these images does not seem all that surprising.
Not many details are available at this point but given the launch of a gaming console from NVIDIA, a self-branded Android tablet is not something really far-fetched.
