BBM for Android screenshots leaked online

Advertisements

First screenshots of the BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) for Android have been leaked in the wild. These screenshots not only show the sign-in screen of the app as well as how the app would look once signed in.

According to BlackBerry OS, which has obtained two of these screenshots, these screenshots are indeed from a real version of the app.  From the looks of it, BBM for Android takes design cues from BB10 and the app itself looks very similar to the BlackBerry Hub for BB10.

In a separate report, CrackBerry notes that BBM for Android is now undergoing beta-testing and the messenger application is still very much on track for the end-of-summer release. No other details are available regarding the app at this moment.

With the rise of of multiple cross-platform messenger applications like WhatsApp, BBM is no longer as enticing as it used to be, but still is any of you waiting for BlackBerry Messenger on Android?
