LG Optimus G Pro sales cross 1 million in South Korea

LG has announced that it has sold over one million units of its phablet Optimus G Pro in South Korea. According to the company, it took only 4 months to achieve this milestone thanks to over 8,000 unit sales per day.

This Optimus G Pro milestone overtakes the Optimus LTE’s record of 1 million sales in seven months to become the company’s fastest selling smartphone in the home market.

To remind you, LG Optimus G Pro was released in the South Korea market around February 18, 2013 and has got decent reviews despite many dubbing it as the copy of Samsung’s Galaxy Note II.

The phone is scheduled to go on sales in select Asian countries this month including India.  LG Optimus G Pro features 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, Adreno 320 GPU, 3,140mAh battery and 2GB RAM. It also comes with 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD IPS display and Jelly Bean.
